Nearly everyone has them, and they get used daily just about. Well, they can be very, very, very useful when facing mortal death or even danger.

The mansion has done well catering to the amount of people that have come to live in, as Xavier's many renovations pay off well. The living space on the first floor along with the expansive library all details an upper-class living, while being suited for dozens of people.

The kitchen is towards the back of the mansion, and is rather large. Opening up into a Dining Room with a grand table that seats at least twenty on a normal day, the Dining Room is common for people to congregate at - and the kitchen for when they'd rather be alone.

The upper floors of the Xavier Estate had been modeled into large bedrooms and dormitories for the many people taken under Xavier's ward. Generally, the younger people at the Institute are to the East Wing while the adults are to the West Wing, and the adults each have their own rooms, whereas the younger residents are asked to share space.

Charles Xavier's study is at the far end of the West Wing, and is the second floor and stretches into the third floor. The study is a mini-library unto itself, and houses his living quarters as well as a space for congregation of the X-Men.

The Estate itself is an impressive eight acres - stretching all the way to Breakstone Lake in what is considered the 'yard'. Aside from the lake is a fully functioning pool, basketball court, greenhouse with out door gardens, and even a memorial garden on the north side of Breakstore Lake for Xavier's deceased parents, and any fallen comrades. The garage houses up to twelve cars at any given time, and an assortment of motorcycles.

The Empire Pool Hall & Bar is the main recreational hub for young adults in Salem Center. After eight, it becomes a twenty-one and over locale; with a fully stocked bar and a lounge like setting with pool tables. After hours, when the hype has died down the bar still caters to the lone drinker from time to time; and during the day the pool hall is seen bustling with teenagers.

Comprising of the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, and Harlem; the Uptown area of Manhattan is most commonly known as the residential areas. Of course, these areas are the more influential areas just south of the Bronx and cost a fair amount of change to live in. Also Uptown are many of the embassies, and swanky hotels with their five-star restaurants.

Midtown Manhattan is home to Madison Square Garden, the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building & many other offices such as the MET LIFE building. If you are a working professional in New York City, there is no doubt you spend nine hours a day here. Midtown is also home to a lot of the popular stores, such as Saks and Macy's.

Downtown Manhattan does not always get the best reputation. Home to the World Trade Center, the United Nations, multiple embassies, the South Street Sea Port & many other piers; downtown Manhattan is where you are most likely to run into trouble because of the more recent residential neighborhoods, popular haunts and winding streets of China Town and Little Italy.

The Nightlife is probably what New York City is most known for. Eclectic, and catering to all styles of recreation the nightlife in New York City can cost you plenty, or cost you nothing at all. Take aim, and take care in the city that never sleeps - because trouble doesn't either.

This is where the facility begins to show its true colors, but still maintains a level of secrecy.

All the facility's living quarters, prisoner quarters, cafeteria, gym, and living areas are located here. Why need prisoners? It is so that the facility's real purpose can have something to be tested against.

Looking like a large gymnasium, the Brotherhood Terrorists train their physical aptitude as well as their powers occasionally here in the training facility which is in doors, though there is also a sparring ring outside for training that can't be done safely in-doors.

The Astral Plane isn't the only other form of existence in this reality. Ever since the advent of the Celestials, each new powered being that comes into the world stands a chance at representing a whole new way of life, and thinking. The Darkforce Dimension, Crimson Dawn, Limbo, and Brimstone Lair are all represented here. Traveler, beware, you don't want to get caught here with no way out.
