((Please ignore most of the former Logan post in its horrid entirety. I'll try to stick to some of that post, but I can't promise anything since I have more than a single brain cell. Thank you.))
Amber hissed as Marius clocked her right in the head and she hit the ground - hard. Landing next to Kurt, she instinctively moved to protect the unconscious fuzzy elf. Unfortunately, though, she was grabbed into a headlock before she could even consider teleporting Kurt to a different part of the mansion. "You reek of body odor! Leggo!" she groaned between gasps for air as Logan entered the room.
Logan, however, sniffed at the air. Great.. They smelled of the Brotherhood, and of Magneto. For the moment it seemed he'd forgotten briefly about Callisto, but his eyes did remain locked on Viktor. He'd seen him before now that he got a better look at him. Despite his claws being out, he flexed his fingers for a brief moment. "Magneto ordered an attack on the mansion, did he?" he growled lowly, "And here I thought he was smarter than that. What part do you play in the grand scheme of things, bub?"
"Pedo-bear," Leiko started, her hands on her hips as she took on the tone - again - of a mother chastising her child, "swearing is not nice, even if the bad word is a place." She shook her head, sending tendrils of her black hair whipping against her face. Honestly, people needed to just be nicer, you know? She sighed and then blinked. A faint "meep" escaped her lips and she instinctively moved to hide behind Marius and Amber. "Err.. She doesn't look too friendly," she started.
Viktor pushed himself up from the floor once he'd been released from the extreme weight of Faith's frame. Hell, he even smiled as Selene came into the demolished room. Reaching out, he gently stroked her hair that seemed unnatural coming from him to those who actually knew who he was. "That's a good girl," he cooed to Selene. A smirk took place of the smile and he looked straight to Logan. "I'm simply here to make sure we get what we came for, bub," he replied finally.
The unmistakable look of relief washed over Amber as she heard those words - those damn German accented words - pour from Kurt's mouth. Leaning down, she helped him to his feet and wrapped her arms around him. "Gutentag, sleeping beauty," she said lowly, smirking up at him. Her eyes, however, turned to watch the scene play out. Leiko, in the meantime, continued to hide behind Marius, peaking out every so often to see what was going on. "Boy, Pedo-bear.. You have one mean friend," she whispered, eyes slightly widened.
For a few minutes Viktor had stroked Selene's hair, watching Logan with an expression of amusement. Laughter played in his cruel eyes as one thought - no, one command - floated from his head and into Selene's. "Kill him."
Logan didn't hesitate to quickly move to block Selene's attack. There was a smell to her, too. Something familiar, yet he couldn't quite grasp what it was at that moment. She had the agility of a cat, but the spirit of a blood thirsty animal. Instinctively Logan grabbed for the woman and went to throw her against the wall. "What's the matter, bub? Can't fight your own battles?" Logan sneered at Viktor.
Viktor simply laughed. "I've been fighting my own battles since I got here. Well, aside from the aid of this absolute gorgeous electrical vixen here," he said. He reached out to touch Cally's hair, to stroke the side of her face, but before he could he was being charged at. Just as Marius got his own little trick off, Viktor made a grand sweep of his arm. Telekinetic energy flew from him as he attempted to knock Faith back into the wall she'd been in earlier. Alas, though.. It didn't work.
What the..?
He tried once more, and again he failed. Well this wasn't good.
He fell to the ground as Faith charged at him and he attempted to scurry backwards. "Come on, you stupid power! Work!" he said, the barest hint of panic ebbing at his voice. Then the inevitable came. Without his powers, there was no way to protect himself. Viktor felt the girl stab him in the shoulders, pinning him to the ground. A loud howl of pain came from him, as well as a slur of swears.

There was a certain... nostalgic satisfaction that ran through Cally's body as Faith was electrocuted. What had started out as a mind/body struggle was now almost a fought war, and her mind was losing. Every last ounce of her newer self was giving into the temptation and the sensation that came much more natural to her. It made sense, though, that she felt this way. If she hadn't came across the professor all those years ago, she never would have defected and joined the X-men in the first place. She would be right back where she always was, being a pawn. Now, she didn't feel like a pawn, more like a puppet, and her strings were being cut, but now, her movements were more real. Dread that was in her stomach disappeared and turned into... excitement. What that meant, Cally had no clue. But she wasn't the same person, and all it took was a stupid crazy telepath. Faith screamed for her to stop, and she probably would, because her power was once again running low and she would need to find some place to recharge, but someone grabbed her by the back and tor her off of Faith. She lost her sense of electromagnetism as she was skidded across the room. Quickly gaining her composure once again, she looked at Logan. Her past came full force into her mind again. She was once assigned to kill Logan, by who, she couldn't remember, but it was a failed job. She was inexperience then, and ended up getting slashed in the chest, something she still had a small scar from. She knew that Logan was a different person now, but there was that wild familiarity. She hated him, because she had practically starved that night she failed to 'take care' of him. Her mind, almost gone, kept fighting, and Cally just stood there, trying to gain control as her body sucked up every last available amount of electricity in the room. Another person was joining them, a girl, looking about as wild as Logan once was. The girl launched herself at Logan, keeping him busy. Viktor said something, Cally couldn't hear, but he reached for her face. There was no touch as Faith drove her claws onto Viktor. Cally watched as he failed to create any type of telekinetic fields, and felt her own electrokenetic control fade away. Someone took away their powers. A small amount of mind power was back, but not enough, apparently. But it was no use, Cally knew that the woman who was once an X-men member was gone. The other guy who came with Vik was not with him anymore. That was apparent, Cally knew the power negation came from him. If that was true... then Faith no longer had her healing factor either. Cally's body moved on it's own as a darker version of her voice swung in the back of her head. Help him... it said. He understands... Electric control or not, Cally still had her adamantium gauntlets, years of terrorist training and experience. With one step, Cally swung her closed fist in the direction of Faith's face and grabbed a hold of the back of her shirt, attempting to break up the two. She was heavy, if she couldn't life her, the adamantium contact, Cally's thick gauntlet to Faith's thicker skull, would be enough to separate the two.

In the briefest of moments, Marius’s power had charged, and the field around Viktor had turned on, negating his powers. The strain to hold it up was massive, but he kept it up. He kept Leiko behind him, his eyes glowing, and his aura around him glowing purple as he used his power’s full extent… “Leiko, whatever you do…stay behind me.” He said, gritting his teeth as he fought the wave of unconscious stupor that was threatening to overwhelm him…
Kurt, in the meantime, was getting to his feet, and surveying the situation. Logan and the girl were slashing the crap out of each other, to put it nicely… and Viktor had realized his powers were off. He was vulnerable! But Cally was helping him, not Faith! Kurt pointed to Cally, and motioned to Amber to move her in a moment, if his attack should fail.
He then teleported behind Cally, and threw his foot up, aiming to knock her in the back of the head as hard as he could. He had no time to wait and see if it had worked… “Sorry, Cally, but we need Faith in one piece right now…” he said, as he teleported to the fireplace, grabbing a pair of swords that were just sitting there… he tilted them to the side, and swung them experimentally… and he teleported back to Viktor, holding them level with his throat.
“En Garde…” he said, grinning demonically…
Selene was still following her orders, sadly. In her half destroyed black wifebeater and shorts, without shoes, she was pretty easy to cause immediate harm on, what with the lack of protection. Craving human touch and companionship, her only ‘friend’ had been her master, who she feared rebelling against… She was thrown against the wall, howling lightly as her head smashed into it. Her body was not coated in adamantium, so her skull had gotten a crushing blow… thankfully, it was already stitching itself back together… Her eyes were unfocused though, and her body was going against her orders for a moment, as she sank to the floor and let out a kitten-like whimper…
“My head… hurts…” she whispered, before her eyes snapped back to focus, and she blinked… she felt freedom in her limbs… her master’s control was gone… she was hesitant to fight now, but she moved in front of Logan anyhow, looking around hesitantly, her nails on her hands being flexed…
“I dunno what to do…” she whispered quietly, blinking fiercely… her gold eyes welling with unshed tears. That was when her paternal pheromones flowed out, a backlash of her making, and she grabbed her head, sniffing. She smelled her father’s scent everywhere, it was a trigger, she had been made to use that as a trigger so long… All she smelled was Sabretooth…
Roaring, her eyes in small, cat-like slits, she moved forward and slashed up, aiming for the jugular on her opponent, her face in an obvious rage, her muscles toned and tensed and ready to spring.
Marius let out a small groan. He couldn’t hold back his opponent’s powers much longer, Viktor was too powerful, his powers were going to come back in full force, and he couldn’t stop them soon. Stumbling back into Leiko a bit, he lifted his other hand, both of them glowing a full, bright violet, his eyes shining the same color, but his nose dripping ruby blood, the strain clearly taking its toll on the man. He ground his teeth, determined to keep the hold on Viktor’s powers as long as he could…
Kurt swung the swords, expertly, at Viktor, his years of swordsman training coming out in full force. He almost seemed to be enjoying making him move around, as Marius kept his powers off. Every slash that connected actually left a good amount of damage behind… As such, when he thrusted his sword into the flesh of his side, he heard and felt what seemed to be the scraping of metallic sword on bone and muscle and the howl of a pained cry.
“Not so tough right now, are you, mein freund…?” Kurt sneered lightly, keeping his defense up and his head at eye level, ready to block any retaliation on his part.

I‘m over it You see I‘m falling in the vast abyss~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ As Faith charged at Viktor, she could feel her anger rise at them. Most specifically, Viktor. He wasn‘t fighting fair, and that pissed her off the most. She half expected to be repelled in the same he had done to her earlier, and she of course would have fought it again and charged him again. She would do it over and over until something happened to either her or that they would retreat. However the deflection never came and she landed claws first. She smiled wickedly as she felt her claws enter Viktor‘s shoulders. It was as if she was enjoying this, and she was close to the final act of killing him. She removed one set of her claws and poised them high above her head. She was prepared to swing them down to slice Viktor‘s head clean off, but she was bombarded by someone knocking her upside the head with some quite solid.
She stumbled back a few feet, releasing her hold on her prey. She then turned to face who it was that had attacked her. It was Cally. Her head hurt like it was hit by a freight train and throbbed with the pain of the blow. She could feel the blood flow from the wound and wondered why she wasn‘t healing. She didn‘t pull another wrecking ball stunt, so there must be something else she was missing. She didn‘t take the time to look at what it was just yet, and instead decided to give the woman a piece of her mind. ”What the fuck, Cally?! You aren‘t on their fucking side! You‘re on the same side as me!” She got ready for another attack, just as Kurt tried to kick her in the back of the head, and then he went after Viktor with a pair of swords. Her injury was not that bad, at least that is what she thought.
Faith was trying desperately to figure out what had happened to her friend, and tried to think of everything that had happened since the fight started. And then it hit her. The damn bastard had warped her friend‘s mind and she decided to try to talk her friend back. ”Cally, listen. I don‘t know what that asshole told you, but whatever it was it is not true. Where is the Callisto that helped me escaped the government acquirement team in town? Where is the Cally that fought those docile mutants by my side? Where is the woman that took me here, a safe place for me to explore being a kid for once in my life? You are not this person before me. I just know it. Now please help us…” She pleaded and then took the chance to look around her. Pedo-bear is the one that seems to be straining to hold something in place, and concluded that he was the one holding back her ability to heal.
She then took a glance at Logan and the progress of his fight. He was trying to do his damnest to keep the girl off of him, and she had seemed to only gotten more berserk than before. She had only entered that state once, and it scared the crap out of her. She secretly had hoped that she wouldn‘t have to go into that state of mind again. She then returned her attention back to Cally. ”Please, Cally. I know you aren‘t this person. I know because I am that person you have become right now. And I don‘t like it, which is why I came here with you…” She pleaded once more, holding out her hand for her take. However she wasn‘t a fool and of course was ready to react if her friend had decided to attack her again. “Speaking…” ‘Thinking…’ ”Other person talking…” ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Clouded by memories of the past At least, I see TIME :: Night TAG :: Everyone here… WORDS :: 628 NOTES :: Hope this pulls Cally back… STATUS :: Done CREDIT :: LYCAN!!

"I hadn't planned on coming out from behind you, you know!" she yelped, watching as Faith sunk her claws into Viktor's shoulders. Instinctively she closed her eyes, though much too late. The image of blood pouring from Pedo-Bear's mean friend was engrained into her brain, much like that one fateful night.. She shoved the memories back under lock and key and buried her face into Marius' back.
Amber, though, watched as Kurt disappeared and kicked at Cally. She shuddered, never having seen that side of Kurt before. Strong, defensive, agile. If it weren't for the fact that they were in the living room, and not training in the danger room, she would have promptly teleported him to someplace else. Alas, though, that would have to wait. Once more she withdrew several cards from her pocket, and once more she started charging them. This time, though, the levels of energy within the cards were far greater than the ones she'd hurled at Marius.
Logan paused, claws raised, and gazed at Selene. Her whole demeanor seemed to change as she sank to the floor with a whimper. He glanced over his shoulder, watching Kurt fighting Viktor with a pair of swords. The wounds on Viktor weren't healing, something was negating the powers around them. However, his eyes snapped back to Selene as she stood up. Cautiously he held his hands up, fingers curled into tight fists, and watched Selene warily. He took in slow, deep breaths and then narrowed his eyes. "You reek of Sabretooth," he snarled as deflected the slashes at his jugular vein.
Viktor had only just barely managed to pull himself up off the ground, blood pouring from his wounds, when Kurt was in front of him. A savage snarl came from Viktor as he once more tried to use his telekinetic ability to thrust Kurt away from him. Nothing came. He looked over to Marius and growled, "Traitor! You're supposed to be helping me kidnap these stupid idiots, not helping them!"
Unfortunately, in his current wounded state, Viktor was no match for Kurt's swordsmanship. Try as he might, he could only barely dodge few of the attacks. The rest opened up new wounds, leaving him with a pain he'd never felt before. He breathed heavily and howled in pain as a sword embedded itself into his side. Finally, Viktor fell to his knees, blood pooling around him. He glared up at Kurt, animalistic rage building within his eyes, "Kill me now, or I will kill your precious Amber and the rest of the students and mutants in this school."
Leiko caught hold of Marius as he stumbled, nearly knocking her backwards in the process. "Easy, Pedo-bear. Don't over exert yourself."

Watching the blood flow from around her, Cally was just reminded of old times. She would walk out of a room just like this, blood everywhere, only death strung in the air. She remembered a time when it sickened her, in reality, it still did. The stench, the ugly feeling, and that sense of being used. She was nothing more than a tool for someone to use. She hated it, it disgusted her, made her feel worthless. There was nothing for her there and if she failed, she would die. But that was who she was for so long, that was her first taste as a mutant. Sometimes, she had wished things were different that she was able to go into the past and make everything right. But she told herself that it wasn't possible and she would just have to made do. Here, she had watched so many kids grow up and mature in their abilities, it was her family. No one except for the professor, and a very, very select few knew of who she was... and it killed her. She felt like she was hiding, and there was this... other thing... inside of her, that was dormant, until Vik showed up. DAMN HIM! Faith was yelling at her, swearing, doing something, but Cally couldn't hear here, there was this ringing in her ears that dulled her. She felt a shift, though, a small surge of energy. That meant... the negation was slowly waning. Cally sensed a puff, and knew, someone was behind her. Her torso shifted just enough, so a foot came crashing down on her shoulder, making her cringe. Warmth spread from her eyes, and slight tears escaped from her eyes, but they quickly evaporated as she felt another surge of power. The tall, older man, the source of the negation, he was concentrating all of his power on Viktor, leaving Cally on the edge of the field. She was gaining her powers back. No matter that Faith was too, the blow to the head that she dealt to her just before would keep her dazed for a bit. Cally turned more, seeing the blade inside of the torso. The Cally before hated Vik, for everything, but now... she felt like he understood who she really was, no one else did. She hated that, but.... Cally's hand reached forward and her metal clad hand gripped the blade. She released small, but very quick bursts of electricity through the blade, expanding it as it entered Kurt's arm. He would lose the feeling, she hoped. Cally felt light headed, but the lights quickly dimmed in and out. She did the same to the floor, sent shock waves through the floor anything touching the ground in that direction would feel something tingling. And in return? She felt it, the power returning, hopefully it would come to soon. Because her head was feeling heavy, her bare legs scratched from the debris, and her mind... almost gone.

Around the time Leiko told him not to overexert himself, his power waned fully, and he cried out, the light in his hands and eyes extinguishing like a flame being blown out. He fell back, thankfully not on Leiko, his eyes blank and his breath faint. Major overexertion. His nose was dripping blood and his eyes were blinking, trying to focus without him passing out. He looked at Leiko, who had knelt to help him, and he pulled her behind him, looking defiantly at Viktor…
The plan had failed. If he knew Viktor at all… the man was going to run. And that would be their best bet right now…
As Vik’s powers hit again, Selene’s head whipped back, Logan’s claws at her throat, and she howled, her eyes taking on a mild glow for a minute as Viktor regained control of his toy. She went limp, sliding out of Logan’s grip, before coming to and moving to Kurt, grabbing him by the back of his neck and tossing him back like a doll.
Kurt, on the other hand, was about to lob off the idiot’s head with his free sword, when the powers kicked in. Sword still lodged in the guy’s abdomen, Kurt began to panic, until the wild child tossed him off, throwing him back and into a bookshelf. He crumpled in the shelf, rolling into an unconscious position, his inner mind praying that the monster left Amber alone…
Speaking of Selene, she was sitting at her master’s side like a puppy dog, waiting for her next command. Her eyes were glossy again, controlled. The eyes of a puppet who’s strings were being pulled along for someone else’s benefit.
Marius found his voice. He sat up fully, pushing Leiko back with him, and he looked to Logan, who had noted the girl’s smell. “I’ve heard about you, and your feud with Creed. She’s his genetic offspring, but not by choice. Like Amber and Faith and Myself. Projects, toys of the government…” he said, as he looked to Viktor.
“Viktor… turn in my resignation notice to Magneto would you? I draw the line at murdering innocent young children and others like us. There is no reason to harm them, and you’re absolutely insane… If I have to die to shut your powers of on a more permanent level, Viktor, I will, and you KNOW I can do it…” he said, narrowing his eyes.

I‘m over it You see I‘m falling in the vast abyss~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Faith felt whatever that was keeping her from healing, lift and the slow but surely stitching of her head wound back to normal. However it wasn‘t as fast as it should be, and that worried her a bit more than it should. Hell, not even when she played wrecking ball a few weeks ago did she heal this slow. It was as if someone had found her Achilles‘ heel so to speak, and that isn‘t good. She started to sway on her feet from the blood loss but held her ground none-the-less.
”Kill me now, or I will kill your precious Amber and the rest of the students and mutants in this school.”
Her head whipped around so fast, her vision started to go but she closed her eyes to keep it still. She opened them again, and extended her claws once again. No one threatens her friends and gets away with it. No one. She howled like a wild animal and then growled like a wolf before attacking. She then charged him. Cally by his side along with the other girl sitting at his feet like a trained dog. Kurt was somewhere around there, and everyone else didn‘t matter to her. She was sliding into that rage that frightens her so, and nothing can stop her. Or so she thought. She roared her anger loud enough that it echoed through the night as her path took her closer to the trio before her. “Speaking…” ‘Thinking…’ ”Other person talking…” ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Clouded by memories of the past At least, I see TIME :: Night TAG :: Everyone WORDS :: 244 NOTES :: Guess who is going to get taken… STATUS :: Done CREDIT :: LYCAN!!

And bend over to help him was just what Leiko did. She fished a rag from her pocket and held it against his bleeding nose. It seemed like the girl always had a rag on her somewhere, though most tended to have a spot or two.. or four.. or covered entirely.. of grease on them. Luckily, though, this one only had two spots. She bit on her lower lip and looked over to Viktor. Her heart was pounding - what was the evil man going to do now?
Amber growled heavily as she watched Callisto go to electrocute Kurt through the sword embedded in Viktor's side. The cards in her hand glowed dangerously. Fellow X-Men member or not, she'd turned, and Amber didn't take well to people turning to the dark side of the force. She hurled the cards at Callisto, each strategically thrown to places that were, while not vital to one's health, important. Her arms, for example, a shoulder blade, chest.. In a flash of purple smoke she teleported over to Cally and threw a kick at her side, before following with a punch toward her temple. "The hell is wrong with you, woman?" she hissed at her as she teleported directly behind Callisto to where Kurt lay unconscious.
Slipping her arms protectively around him, she once more teleported to the opposite side of the room where Marius and Leiko stood.
Logan looked over to Marius, a look of surprise on his face. One of his worst fears surfaced and a look of disgust mixed with rage appeared on his face. "Those bastards are testing on people?" he growled, "Haven't they learned their damn lesson yet?!" But, still.. The fact that the girl, who smelled of Creed, was modeled after the feral asshole he loathed shocked him. He turned his eyes to Selene, watching as she made her way back to Viktor's side like a whipped puppy. He was stunned, and, for once, unsure of what to do.
Viktor, breathing rapidly and bleeding just a little less, gave a struggled sigh of relief as the searing pain started to subside. A single glance at Marius showed him that he'd failed to keep the power negation going. Did he dare to push himself up, though? Not a chance. He laid there, for once glad that Selene was around to protect his hide while he was in such a weakened state. "I'll let Magneto know you've decided to betray him. I'm not sure how he'll take the news, though," he said slowly between shallow breaths.
As Faith came charging toward him, he felt his powers snap back into place. Though they were weak, his original was as strong as before. Using Selene as support, he propped himself up with an elbow and thrust his hand out at her. A surge of telekinetic energy shot from him and he lifted the girl into the air. A twisted sneer formed. "Selene, Callisto.. I think it's time we took our leave of this place, don't you?" he asked them as he slowly pushed himself up. Most of the smaller wounds had healed, though the larger ones remained open. The muscles beneath were slowly repairing themselves, reforming where they'd been torn and ripped out by swords and claws alike. He popped his neck from side to side and looked to Marius. "I think I shall take the one that's caused me the most trouble with me as a trophy of sorts. I think Magneto would just love to have her and, besides.."
His words trailed off as he slowly made his way over to where Faith hung, suspended in mid air, and looked up at Faith. He licked his lips as he saw exactly what he wanted from the girl. With his free hand he reached up and ran his index and middle fingers through the blood that had gushed from her, much thanks to Callisto's whacking her hard in the head. Then, before he could even be stopped, he licked his fingers, which elicited a moan of horror and disgust from Leiko.
A low moan escaped his lips and he closed his eyes. The taste of her blood.. It was nothing like he'd imagined. Then again, if his guesses were right, it could be due to the adamantium that coated her bones. There was a hint of raw, unhindered anger mixed within there, as well as the adrenaline rush from the battle. Slowly he opened his eyes and smirked. "Well, one out of... Let's see, how many are there of you now?" he asked, taking count with a blood covered index finger. "Six," he said finally, "That's not the odds I would have preferred, but I'll take it. Then again, the little electrical vixen has been bleeding, too, hasn't she?"
It was a rhetorical question, of course. "I'll save her for later. A treat, if you will, for being such a good boy." With a grin he tightened the telekinetic hold on Faith, and laughed. Internally, the change was already beginning, and would soon be completed. "Well, girls.. Are you ready to go home? This includes you, too, halfpint," he added as he looked up to Faith.

Despite Amber hurling projectiles and getting hit, Cally's body managed to stand up. She always had a theory that when charging up, her body's natural healing process was sped up, just a little. Nothing compared to Faith's, or Logan's. But it was always enough to keep her alive, like a back up generator that kicked in just in time to keep everything going. Her cardigan was ripped, burnt, shredded, almost unrecognizable, her legs scratched and sore and she could feel several bruises forming on her hips and shoulders, one especially nasty where Kurt dropped his foot. And she was pretty sure there were burns on her torso where Amber flung exploding playing cards. Amber teleported, to get Kurt. Just like him before, Cally could feel it, her head turned in time for Amber to hit her cheek, hard. Watching Vik taste Faith's blood, a dirty feeling crept into her stomach. This was it? Did Cally really fall so low? She didn't even know anymore. Her life had changed so many times, she didn't know where she was supposed to be. Maybe it was here, by Vik's side. Or maybe, she should have been on the other side, helping to singe his body when he died. How different would the outcome had been if Cally was different, if her mind was stronger, or if this natural impulse of what she once was never came out? She couldn't answer that, because it was too late. She can't change again. Well, girls.. Are you ready to go home? This includes you, too, halfpint," Vik told them. She reached her hand out and took hold of Faith's wrist. Cally did the same with Viktors arm. With him keeping touch with Selene, she could travel them all out of here and resurface far away. Cally started to charge up, and it was evident that she was draining power from the mansion. The electrical outlets sparked, lights gave out and most light-bulbs exploded and shattered, leaving white glass snow to fall. Cally felt her eyes light up in power as she prepared to condense all of their atoms into the path's below them. There was a hit of an invisible force across Cally's head. A pained, sorrowful expression took form on her face, as if suddenly realizing everything she had done. She felt her own body dissipate, and could feel the weight of everyone else after hers. She concentrated on an empty place, far from the institute. Hopefully, she would get there in time to resurface before passing out.

As Viktor, Selene, Cally, and Faith teleported away, Marius let out a sigh of relief. Thank God, he had left without a major endgame. For that, they were blessed. They could get the girl back later, he was going to try that no matter what these others decided… He felt that this was his fault. He should have stopped Viktor alone, before the mansion…
Kurt slowly came to, rubbing at a trail of blood going down the back of his head. “Ach du lieber Gott… Did anyone get the number of that train that punted me into a wall? My memory is saying 9 and ¾, but I have this sneaky suspicion I got that from a book…” he said, smiling at Amber, and leaning up to give her a small kiss, before getting to his feet, and looking around.
“Faith und Cally are gone… Cally went willingly?” he half asked. Mostly it was him making a statement. He’d seen Cally, before he’d been tossed. His arm was still numb from her. She was helping this guy, and there was nothing they could do about it. He wasn’t going to drag her ass back like an angry father.
However… He looked to Marius. The man was literally glowing, in a way… “You. Other person. Here’s what we’re going to do. I see some kind of aura spell around you. And before you ask, it’s because I was raised around magic. I recognize the auras. You’ve got a façade up or something. So… drop it and come clean with us…and help us…” he said.
Marius looked around the room, and sighed. With a gesture, the hair shrunk into his head, until it was fairly short, and looked downright clean, his skin tone changed, and his body looked far less sickly. He fell, practically, into a chair, pressing the rag back to his nose for a moment more before looking at everyone in turn…
“My name is Marius Cromwell… and I was the first of our kind. Not mutants… but genetically created mutants. And since you asked, before, no, they aren't taking humans to experiment on. They are MAKING them. From Scratch, test tube babies...The difference between that girl there, and the others, is that I was deemed a full failure. Instead of having the full repertoire of powers they genetically put into me, I had half of that. I was thrown on my ass… but many years later, I found the files for the others. Many others, more than just you and the other two. I also found a cure for the rapid aging… I’m actually about 20 or so, but by the time I was 10 I looked 39… It’s a condition that will kill us if not stopped…” he said, as Kurt’s head whipped to Amber, his glowing eyes looking quite fearful… He didn’t want to lose her…
“Explain the girl… before we’re forced to kill her…” Kurt said, bluffing of course, but Marius’s eyes snapped up.
“No, don’t harm her, she literally has no idea of what she’s doing! Her whole life has been with the government or as Viktor’s slave. She is doing as she is trained… she craves contact, something Viktor gives her, when he deems she’s ‘behaved’ or he’s just in the mood to get some. I ALMOST got thru to the child, she’s as much of a victim as your friend Faith…” he said, and he lowered his eyes again.
“Let me help you? You people sound downright peachy compared to the low lifes I’ve had the pleasure of associating with before. I’d like to be around people like you… I want to help you… I don’t know if turning of Viktor’s powers is something I can do again, that was the first time I tried it… but there are other ways around him. We can get your friend back, and the other girl too if she wants to come… I just want to help.” He said.
Kurt was all for it mind you, they needed all the help they could get… but he looked to the others. The choice was theirs.

I‘m over it You see I‘m falling in the vast abyss~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Before Faith could even get close to Viktor, she was lifted in the air and held there. His power had effectively stopped her in her tracks, and she struggled against the hold that was placed on her. Her memories starting to flood her mind, which only fueled her anger. And when her anger gets the better of her, the rage comes. She could clearly see his wounds slowly heal themselves up just like hers were. Her heartbeat was pounding in her ears as she watched as he said something back to Pedo-bear, what she did not know. Then he made his way over to where she hung in mid air, and she tried her best to break free of the hold, but it of course was no use. Viktor started to lick his lips as he eyed the blood that was trailing down the side of her face. When he reached up with a hand and wiped it through her DNA, she attempted to bit them clean off.
She let loose a long low warning growl as he put her blood to his lips and licked it off. She had heard of a mutant that took other‘s powers that way, but she had thought that her owners had killed him for being an utter failure. She guessed she was wrong. She then watched as he counted the crowd for something that didn‘t quite reach her ears. Before she knew it, the force that held her up in the air tightened considerably around her and she grunted as she tried to struggle again. Her claws were still out as she would slice his head off as soon as she got the chance.
”Well, girls.. Are you ready to go home? This includes you, too, halfpint,”
Faith‘s response was to growl again and struggle even more against his hold on her. ”I‘m gonna send you to hell, Viktor. I‘m gonna cut your damn head off and burn the eyes out. I WILL kill you. I can promise you that.” She snarled at him, showing him her animalistic canines in the process. No one will ever control her again. No one. Next thing she knew was that Cally had took her wrist and grabbed Viktor on the other side of her, he of course had a hold of that girl. ”Don‘t you dare touch me, you damn traitor! I‘ll cut off your damn hands next time you do, gantlets and all!” She snarled at Cally, and fought to get her hand free. It seemed her threats fell on deaf ears and her efforts were futile. Before she knew what had happened, she faded away with the rest of her captors. “Speaking…” ‘Thinking…’ ”Other person talking…” ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Clouded by memories of the past At least, I see TIME :: Night TAG :: Everyone WORDS :: 447 NOTES :: She is really, really, really pissed! There was a collective silence of both relief and worry. Amber and Leiko looked at each other, both thinking the same thing. How are we going to get Faith back? Logan was simply staring at the space where Faith had been. Slowly he retracted the claws and then rubbed his face. "Well, this was a lovely welcome home," he muttered sarcastically and turned to look at the others. His eyes fell upon Kurt, then on the other two girls he didn't quite recognize and then, finally, he rested them on Marius. It was taking full self restraint to not go over to him, grab him by the front of his shirt, and hoist him into the air to demand what was going on.
Amber gave a faint smile as Kurt awoke. "Ach du lieber Gott, indeed, liebschen," she said after returning his kiss, then slipped her hand into his. Leiko moved a bit closer to Marius and tilted her head, watching as he changed, literally, before her eyes. "Whoa.. Pedo-bear doesn't look like an ancient Pedo-bear anymore," she said, her eyes widening. "Neat trick!" Amber smacked herself in the forehead and sighed, looking at Leiko tiredly, "Lei.. How can you be so damn cheerful after all that has happened?"
Blinking, Leiko looked over at Amber and then shrugged, "just my nature, I suppose, y'know?" Logan shook his head at the faint bickering between the two remaining girls and growled, "Enough! Who the hell is this? And why the hell was that freak Viktor here? And why the hell did Callisto just help him escape with Faith? And who the hell was that girl, other than a genetically created daughter of Creed?!" Leiko tsk'd at Logan and wagged her index finger at him, "temper temper!" That elicited another growl from Logan, which caused Leiko to quietly "meep" and move to stand behind Marius.
As Marius explained to Logan and Kurt about the creation of the genetic mutants, Amber stared silently at the ground. The truth was bound to get out about them at some point, she hadn't dreamed that it would be like this, though. . . A cure for rapid aging. . . Will kill us if not stopped. . . Amber's head jerked up, green eyes wide and fearful as she looked at Marius. Out of the corner of her eye she could see Kurt looking straight at her, but she couldn't look at him. No, instead, she felt her knees grow weak. Carefully she sank to the ground and pulled her knees to her chest. She had thought her rapid aging was finished, she hadn't aged since almost a year ago. Her hopes were instantly dashed and she leaned her head back against the wall. "Lovely.."
Logan flexed his hands, claws extending and retracting with each muscle flex, then pulled a cigar out from inside his jacket. After lighting it, he looked to Marius and blew a smoke ring. "As peachy as it sounds, bub, how are we certain that your helping wasn't a ploy set up by Magnet head? You smell of brotherhood, and it's not something I like smellin'. However, if you do want to help... How do we shut that freak down for good?" he asked, cigar bouncing between his lips. The smell of the cigar was enough for Amber, she needed a cigarette. She didn't care if they weren't supposed to smoke in the mansion, the room was destroyed and they might have well been outside. She checked her pockets and located the squished pack of cigarettes, pulled out her own, and lit it. With a shaky breath, she exhaled the smoke and looked to Kurt, then to Logan, Marius and Leiko.
"I don't think the five of us are going to be enough to take on Viktor, especially now that they have Callisto on their side. I hate to say it, but we're going to need the others, as well as Marius," she said carefully, looking at the tip of her cigarette before taking another long drag from it. Leiko, quiet during the conversation for once, smiled. "You know what we need? We need cookies. Cookies make everything better!" "Leiko! Cookies do not make everything better!" Amber snapped at her, which she almost instantly regretted.
Leiko's smile fell for a moment, before she forced it back on. "That's just your low blood sugar talking. I'll go make some cookies. Maybe some cupcakes, too," she said as she looked at the ceiling thoughtfully, the tip of her index finger placed on her chin. "The halfpint's right," Logan said, motioning toward Amber with his cigar, "As much as I'd love to say we don't need the rest.. We do. What'cha think, Elf?"

((Pre-post apologies for any not-making-sense lines. It’s 5:15 AM, I have heartburn, and I’m just trying to get something up for you. Lmao…))
Marius let out a derisive laugh. How could they be sure… well… “You can’t be sure. That’s the thing. But you DO know that I just about tapped out my powers to turn his off for a time in here… and the thing with Viktor is, if you don’t have a way to stop him, even for a millisecond, you don’t have a chance. He’s a force of nature.” He said, throwing Logan a look that clearly said for him to just listen and stop trying to find something wrong with him in nothing.
“As for shutting him down for good… I can’t tell you that because I don’t KNOW it. He guards his secret well, the only person who may know is the girl, his Darkferal, and I don’t know how you’d even begin to make her speak.” He said, shaking his head, but sitting back in the chair.
Leiko brought up cookies. He chuckled a bit, that seemed to be the girl’s forte, youth in an older appearance. Too bad that was harder to see in someone like him. It was hard to see how young he really was in the body of a 40-something-odd-year-old man. And he knew it. It was why he was resigned to not pair off with anyone. The one genetic mutant, Amber, she seemed to have found someone though… but a sexy young woman wouldn’t have trouble with that now would she…
As he was lost in thought, Kurt moved over to Logan and sighed, scratching behind his head where he had smacked into the bookcase and busted it open. “Well, mein freund, I can’t tell you what we need to do, just what would make sense… und following this man is the best idea we’ve got. The best chance we’ve got. Think about it. How else are we going to get in there undetected? We need this guy, as much as we’re loathe to admit it. Besides, you weren’t on hottest terms when you started here either. I seem to remember hearing about an incident where you almost shis-ke-bobbed Jean Grey…” He said, grinning, then sighing, before looking to Marius and crossing his arms.
“We need you to be telling the truth. You could be leading us into a death trap, but we’re giving you the chance to prove yourself. If you’re going to do as you said, and help us, there’ll be a spot here with us in the end for your help. If not…then we’ll try to put you und your friend down in the end. Do I make myself clear?” he asked, as Marius nodded and sighed.
Kurt nodded. Time to come up with a plan. And Logan was the best here in his opinion when it came to planning.
