Draven grinned widely at Kari, his pearly whites fully exposed in all of their perfect glory. " Didn't I just say you could bunk here?" he said, then turned onto his side. He propped his head up with one hand and tugged lightly at the bar through his tongue with his teeth. " Word to the wise, though... Keep your hands off my makeup, clothes and hair products. Those I guard with my life, kay? If you want to borrow something, ask and maybe I'll let you." Typical Draven.. Protective of his beautification supplies. Even back at home he kept the stuff under lock and key so his sisters couldn't just sneak in and snatch his eyeliners, eye shadows, gels and hair sprays. Honestly, Draven had always had the hopes that it would be his twin brother in the bed across from his. Alas, though, that hope would more than likely always be a dream. After all, there was no guarantee that Erik was a mutant. For all Draven knew, Erik was a human. Pulling his lip balm from his pocket, he smoothed the Burt's Beeswax over his lips, lost in thought for the moment. Well, if he couldn't have his twin, at least he could wake up to some form of eye candy. " No one really outs anyone here, even when it comes down to mutations. Kurt, for example. He's the acrobatics teacher. We marvel at his acrobatic skills and don't really think twice about the fact that he has two fingers and a thumb, is blue and fuzzy and will remind you of an elf." he answered, finally remembering the question that Kari had asked downstairs. " So, no, you don't have to hide it anymore." Words: 285 Tag(s): Kari Notes: Sorry it's short. Brain's on the fritz today. Credits: Mel!

Kari smiled softly and sat up on the bed as he looked around the room. He was happy that he had a place to stay, but none the less it was rather odd. He knew his parents would be looking for him, and he really didn't get why there would be a school for mutants. After all he really didn't care about his abilities, he just didn't want them going off on their own anymore. Although he heard Draven say something about his makeup and Kari giggled a little. Honestly Kari had never thought about makeup in general, he really didn't care about his hair either. "Why would I want your makeup?" He smiled before he looked away from Draven and laid back down on his bed.
He continued to listen to the other man as he began to talk about how everyone got along there. As well as hearing about the teacher who apparently looked a lot like a elf. Of course this caused Kari to chuckle a little before he stood up from his bed and walked over to the only window in the room. "So this whole place is for mutants..." Kari bit his lip as he began to think about the whole situation at hand. Up until today he would deny anyone who asked about him being a mutant.
"But what about my parents? or my old school? Wont they wonder if I just disappear?" He looked over at Draven rather confused, wondering what was going to happen to his old life. "I mean, i think they will notice if I just stop showing up..."
