~Rory Terrance Blair!!
“For death begins with life's first breath and life begins at touch of death” – John Oxenham
The File Jacket
Name: Rory Terrance Blair
Nickname(s)/Alias: -
Codename: Necrosis
Age: Chronologically 17
Gender: Born Male
Sexuality: Homosexual, Bi-curious
Profession: None
Human Type: Natural Mutant
Faction: Currently X-men
Mutant Powers and Abilities:
- Sphere of Necrotic Decay ~ Rory is capable of generating and maintaining a passive sphere of necrosis around himself. This sphere is in no way altering time itself, but rather the process of entropy, by accelerating it as he dictates by his will. This entropy will effectively cause any form of matter to entropically decay, the rate at which it occurs differs by his will, from basically instantaneous decomposition, to just slightly accelerated aging of a selected subject. Rory effectively decides upon which specific objects and organisms are affected, as well as which specific sections of a being or object as well. He may if desired have the entropy affect himself if he so chooses to do so.
Unfortunately he cannot reverse the effects of decay and is unable to turn the process backwards, once aged it cannot be made young once again. The sphere is kept passively on, even when unconscious, although as he is unconscious he'll be unable to change the effects of the field at will, and will be left with the last previous thought put into the effects of the entropy field for better or for worse. The field isn't visible per say, but rather the decay is clearly recognizable at most times. Beyond the rather obvious grass dying all around him and such, usually the nearby vicinity to the sphere as well as the area inside the sphere itself is cold as heat is being entropically slowed, so just being around Rory sends a sort of chill down ones spine, both metaphorically and physically. - Anatomic Adjustment/Inert Flesh Resuscitation ~ Rory's body is capable of altering itself to survive even the harshest of environments and/or situations. The process of this alteration for survival though isn't necessarily a elegant or alluring series of phases. His body will effectively use it's existing organic matter to do what it can to keep Rory alive in harmful situations, and will even do so in non-life threatening situations for the purpose of just altering his anatomy. His body effectively mutates physically, changing its anatomy and physical build-up to fit its needs. This alteration is in no way capable of gaining supernatural mutant abilities such as manipulating fire, or psionics or things of the sort, but is only within the bodies physical change, sometimes though to bizarre and consequential ends. These manipulations can even go to the change of cell types within his body.
This change can be within any of the varying body systems in the body including digestive, muscular, nervous, skeletal, and even urinary systems. This alteration as noted above is limited to just the existing organic matter at hand, this matter isn't limited though to Rory's own or even living flesh. His body if in contact with mortified flesh or no longer living cells is within the capabilities of effectively devouring the cells and rapidly multiplying preexisting cells with the nutrients of those dead cells at far above normal capabilities. Effectively using dead cells to create new living cells at almost full value, which in turn increases the amount of organic mass Rory has upon him. He is incapable of deciding his appearance and changes and basically all his altered forms are grotesque for the most part. Usually his body reverts to a default form though when not in any sort of dilemma, this form though is still far from human.
Canon?: Original
PRETTY FACES
Eyes: Pink (Default)
Hair: None (Default)
Height: 1'11" from back (Default)
Weight: 42 lbs (Default)
Any outstanding features?: Effectively Rory's mutation has left him with the misfortune of being a mess. Rory's body is an anatomist's nightmare, or maybe an anatomist's dream? It is horridly disfigured to a repulsive level, where skin is literally torn in several locations as bone is seen protruding from awkward positions and sections. Certain organs can at times be seen visibly and potentially externally as well, or possibly might just be seen due to transparent skin in the location of the organ. Essentially his body is altered past what could even be considered human; it is for all intents and purposes grotesque in the eyes of society. As it alters itself with each change there is no real definite appearance for Rory, he does have his default form though when at a neutral standpoint for his body. His default form is rather small interestingly enough, following along the lines most likely of small species being less disturbed by environmental change. Effectively he's the size of a medium sized dog.

PERSONALITY: Rory is a kind individual at heart, he's someone who tries his best to make others happy, but often times neglects to do that favor onto himself, forgetting his own needs to fit those of others. He lives to please essentially, but works carefully to gain his own needs at the same time while trying to help others. Whenever he makes a mistake of some sort, or things look grim, he often places the blame upon himself, often so he never really does anything to improve the situation, merely continuing to complain about his faults and thus leading to spiraling down into depression. Being somewhat lazy, shy, and secretive of even his own basic lifestyle and thoughts, he often tries to avoid talking about himself and often changes the topic to that of whomever he's talking with. He sees his own flaws and doesn't like what he sees, but does nothing to change himself, rather yet he's dependent on others to motivate him to even do anything, making him the worst candidate for a leader.
Rory always enjoys a good laugh or joke and likes a lighthearted environment rather a serious one. He often has difficulty sparking conversations and when he does bring them up he often brings up the oddest of topics. At times he can seem somewhat insensitive and almost sadistic, constantly pestering others and being a nuisance, but he doesn't do so in hopes to harm, but rather as just a part of his playful nature. At heart he loves to explore, enjoy new things, and has a sense of adventure around him. He's always open for something fun, even if it may be a bit risky to do. Although initially shy, once he opens up, he becomes quite outgoing and rampages as energy filed ball of hyperactivity.

HISTORY: Rory was the first of three children born into a very religious family, from birth he was indoctrinated in the teachings of the Bible and was brought up as a devout Christian. His family at the time lived within New York City, inside a large sized family apartment, and money usually wasn’t an issue with his parents having decent careers. His parents Mary and James Blair were for the most part, firm believers of their religion and hoped their children would as well follow in their footsteps. For the early part of Rory's life, he basically did, not questioning the teachings of his religion and parents. For the most part Rory and his siblings got along well and he did decent in school, he had never made any close friends unfortunately and was often rather alone, or if he had friends, he often stuck by the sidelines if anything. He continued to live this life, without a goal, without a dream, without a plan for the future, he just continued to live and hoped for the best. It wasn't until he was 12 that he began to question things about life, his family's religion, and what he actually believed.
Rory began to in a sort go through a rebellious state and questioned his parents on a large manner of things, involving religion, ethics, and views on controversial issues. This in turn caused a break between Rory and his parents and soon on a near daily basis they were arguing, often times these arguments went on to larger scales leading to broken dishes, Rory running away, etc. For the most part, even though he now had his own view point on things, in a way he still sort of clung to his religion and wished for things to go back the way they were, to simpler times, so often times after running away, he'd actually return home asking for forgiveness from his parents. Despite this, he continued to think differently from his parents, and in turn he never went back to the life he had before. Things began to get worse and worse though as the years went by.
Eventually by the time Rory was off to high school he was heavily conflicted by several things and led a very confused life, and with it his grades plummeted. Rory had never really been the subject of bullying, or any form of injustice, and rather had a sort of ideal school and home life. Neither of his parents were abusive, they had the money they needed to live a stable and even slightly wealthy life, and he never suffered any losses within his family or the few distant friends he had. For the most part he had a pretty good life, removing the factors of his mental conflict and the results of it. Rory had friends, but never any close ones, in fact he had no one who he really trusted and thus kept most of his issues within himself.
By the age of 14, upon his second year in high school, things began to change for the worst. Rory's mutant gene began to unveil itself, and thus his powers awakened. Rory had been at home within his room when it occurred; it was both a painful and tragic experience for him and was in no way spectacular or exciting. He watched as his very body began to essentially lose control of itself, his body began to snap and rearrange his skeletal system, his muscles were torn and his skin was shredded as he underwent drastic physical change. Beyond that he watched as his pets began to rapidly age and die before his eyes as he just stood there. As he looked within the mirror in his room he was filled with terror and disgust. He left home first thing.
Most likely staying wouldn't have been a good thing, to show his family his demonic appearance and to risk them to the field of death around him wouldn't have ended well and so he just left. He jumped out the window and fled into the alleyways and dark places of New York City, hiding his deformed appearance and his dangerous abilities from the world around him. Life was horrid for Rory at this point of his life, he made sure to lose all contact with anyone he knew, and with it he lived life through theft and murder. Eventually as the years passed by he learned to control his powers, or at least one of them, the one that he felt would be more of a danger to those around him. He was capable of nearly perfecting the control of his death field, to where he had enough control to prevent himself from killing anyone that came within a couple feet from him. He didn't like stealing and killing, but it was what he needed to do in order to survive, no one would serve him, help him, treat him like a human, and so he could only survive. Survive and hope that someday things could just go back to the way they were before.
Things never went back to the old days though. Again he wished for the past, but it didn’t come to him, instead time began to rush by him as the years went by. Eventually he came to the conclusion that if the world wouldn’t change, he’d change, or at least try his very best to. Rory decided to move forward into the light of hope, that hope came from the light of an institute, Xavier’s Institute for Higher Learning. So with that Rory decided to turn his life around, he’d work his way and find a path to reach that hope.

POST RP EXAMPLE:A shrill hiss echoed and reverberated within the interior of the small store, a portly mustached man stood against a wall, quivering in fear as a monstrous abomination stood before him patrolling threateningly. There was a cold chill in the building as if someone had died, and everything was silent save for the horrid hissing coming from Rory's throat. Rory had no intention to harm the man, nor destroy the store, he just needed food to last the night, so it was a simple matter of entering through the front door, threatening the man in charge of watching the shop and stealing some vittles for the night. Rory's body hadn't changed this time around for the situation as there was no actual threat, but even so his noxious appearance was more than enough to intimidate the man to the point of getting him pinned to a wall, or so Rory thought.
After hissing for a bit longer Rory began to rummage through the stores shelves, picking through the various aisles as he pulled out bags of chips, beef jerky, fruit and other various foods. It wasn't until he had a handful of foods that he noticed the man behind him with a wooden bat. Rory had probably shocked the man initially with his appearance, but it seemed he wasn't going to stand down and get robbed by a freakish dog creature. The man had been intimidated at first, but he had overcome his fear to save his stock. The man swung the bat, merely missing Rory by inches as Rory dropped the food and dashed out of the way. A plump tomato and several bags of chips were hit in substitution to Rory's body, and soon enough tomato fluids had flown onto the man.
The man seemed to be going from fear to infuriation now as he chased after Rory, swinging the bat madly after the small mutated monster. He had cornered Rory behind the cash register and was preparing to strike him down, "Got you now, you little monster!" When suddenly Rory's body began to violently convulse. At first it was a sudden jerk, but soon enough Rory's chest opened and his rib cage was piercing through the mans left leg, the man let out a loud yell of pain as he dropped the bat and fell to the ground. Blood was pouring out of his impaled limb, Rory unfortunately couldn't do much to help and just went around the man, he grabbed some food and soon enough left, wishing it could've gone less violently.
