PERSONALITY: Elaine is a very smart girl. She believes that brains are stronger than brawn, as that is how she had survived as a child on the streets. From an early age, she had learned to take care of herself and be independent from others. She is generally a happy teenager unless someone or something threatens what she holds near and dear to her heart. She will retreat when confronted and if a stranger approaches. This is due to those who wish to study and experiment on her could be anyone she sees really. However if she were to be backed into a corner, she would come out fighting and she wouldn't be able to contain herself and her ability in that situation.

HISTORY: Elaine’s parents were normal humans, and just like any human would do loved and cherished their child. That was however until their darling little girl showed that she was no ordinary human. For as long as she could remember, Elaine had vivid realistic dreams. Sometimes she had thought that they were not her own, but she only chalked it up to her overactive imagination. However, it all changed one night when she was thirteen.
She had gone to bed one night, and dreamed. She dreamed she was at her home, but her father and mother were arguing. Her mother wanted to divorce her father, but he refused to sign the papers to make it all legal. She yelled at them to stop it, and then she picked up the nearest object and threw it at them it. She heard both of them yelp in pain as it broke against the wall and injured her folks. Then in a fit of rage, her father grabbed a knife and stabbed her. She woke up with a start, and realized that it was only a dream.
The next day, her mother presented her father with divorce papers. That shook Elaine to core, and thus went about creating a top to keep with her at all times. It was a certain size and weight, and only she was able to handle it. It was her totem. If she spun it and it never toppled, then she was dreaming. If it did topple, then she was awake. In secret, she began to learn to control her ability all on her own. She got so good at it, she was even able to design the dream that she wished. However, no matter how hard she tried, she was never able to bring someone into her own dreams.
Then during an experiment, she managed to create the idea into her parent’s mind that they couldn’t live without the other. This resulted in a serious outcome. They attempted to kill themselves only to end up in a coma. There, she is still able to communicate with them in their dreams, but she is always full of regret. Shortly after their hospitalization, someone from the government contacted her and gave her an ultimatum. Either allow the government to study her or face charges in the attempted murder of her parents.
She has been running ever since in attempt to escape the government. Elaine has heard stories that they did horrible things to people like her, and she doesn’t want to be used in that way.
