Experience: I've been a moderator at one point on another site, taken it was some time ago, but I've also had a bit of experience being an admin on a couple roleplaying sites as well, taken also that these were really minor small ones, but regardless I've had some experience. Beyond this I enjoy reading applications, and looking at the wide variety or lack of variety within characters.
